Mynhardts sources faultless loose diamonds, tanzanite and other precious stones at wholesale prices. We carry a wide range of diamond cuts / shapes including round brilliant cut, princess cut, emerald cut, marquise cut, pear cut, oval cut & heart cut. Coloured or fancy diamonds - yellow, pink, brown are available on request.
Visualise your design as a 3d photo or as a wax model before manufacturing takes place.
Mynhardts will ensure your jewellery is adaquately covered by either providing you with your digital design or by taking digital photographs of all items.
What does Computer Aided Design (CAD) mean?... Our designers physically draw your design in a 3D programme. These files are exported to the "Solidscape" prototype machine. From these files the rapid prototyping machine builds a wax model of your design with extremely fine resolution (detail).
What happens next?... Your wax model is then cast into platinum or 18ct white or yellow gold ready for traditional jewellery finishing by our craftsmen at the bench. The design and manufacturing process takes between 7 - 14 working days, however, should you have a special request we will try and accommodate you.
To assist us in creating an accurate replica of the jewellery you desire, simply supply us with information about the stone/s, ie cut, carat, colour, clarity, specify whether the setting of the stone / stones is in 18ct yellow / white gold or platinum and provide us with a photograph, a sketch or an idea of the design.
